The fused glass wall at the Sports Book presented several challenges in the fabrication process. Hundreds of pieces were hand cut, stacked in layers, then brought to a temperature of 1500 degrees in order to fuse. Lining up each piece and each layer so the design carried on to the next panel was very time consuming. Once the panels were fused they were waterjet cut, and the edges were polished. The effect of this much fused glass in this design style is very unique and stunning.
